- Is VentureNiche a VC firm?
No. A traditional venture capital firm is a company that provides a form of private equity to start-ups and early stage companies. Normally VC firms will invest in high potential growth firms. The goal of the investment is to make money when the company has an IPO or is aquired by another firm. Here is the wikipedia reference page for VC.
VentureNiche occasionally takes in private investments, however the main difference is that VentureNiche creates small companies, in niche industries, that do not have to be enormously successful on the level of Google for VentureNiche and it's partners to be successful. Our investments are small but our ROI is large. - Do you work with outside individuals?
We have never taken an outside idea or inventor and created a business around it. The reason for this is that the numbers rarely work out where everyone in the deal is making enough to be engaged. Never say never, we just have not been able to make it work, up to this point.
- What are you looking for?
We are always looking for great people, whether you are an A-player at the start of your career or an experience veteran director looking to kick-start your entrepreneurial life. We welcome talent as ultimately the people are the only thing that differentiates a company from it's competition.
- What is a niche business?
Niche businesses are often small businesses that cater to small markets that are not served by the large commodity markets. They are generally much closer to their chosen market and more likely to create innovative products and services that meet the needs of their market.
